Writer & Director Anne Rene` Brashier makes emotionally gripping, physically dynamic, boldly engaging film and theater.

Her film The Dermatologist, about a spy who discovers that her target is her mom, premiered at the 2019 Broad Humor Festival. She co-produced The Cypher, a short that is an official selection at 2020 Tribeca. She was recently accepted into the Stowe Story Lab to develop Dugout, an adaptation of MacBeth set at a Little League game. 

She was a 2019 NBCUniversal Writer's On The Verge finalist, and her scripts have won several competitions. 

 

Her work has appeared at Indiecade, Company of Angels, Some Assembly Required, Sacred Fools, and the NYC, New Zealand, and Hollywood Fringe Festivals. She directed the LA Webfest award-winning webseries Corporate, and was nominated for Best Choreographer at the LA Weekly Theater Awards with the LA Theatre Ensemble.  

She is currently getting her MFA in film production at USC, where she is about to direct a documentary about political polarization leading up to the 2020 Fall General Election.
